SKILLS PRESENTERS

Tehillah Worship is a Canadian music collective based out of First Assembly Church in Calgary, Alberta. Tehillah Worship and leader Michael Larson will be leading the Worship Leading & Instrument/Band Skills Sessions.

Darrell Smith is a Leader and Creative Technologist with a heart for the Church. Darrell is the founder of Kungpow Production. The Kungpow team has designed and integrated audio, video, and lighting systems for more than 40 venues in the US and Canada. Darrell’s past clients have included One Conference, Bethel Music, TED, Alpha, and more. Darrell is passionate about applying design thinking to technical systems to support remarkable creative and ministry outcomes. 

Josh is a leader in the audio production industry in Canada and the Managing Director at FM System in Calgary. He was not only one of our first presenters but has been a Sharpen favourite throughout the years. Josh will be leading the Audio Skills Sessions.

Val is a licensed minister with the EMCC, holds a BA in Theatre from Trinity Guild (UK), is the Associate Director of Theatre at Ambrose University and is the Founder and Artistic Director of Fire Exit Theatre in Calgary. Her passion is the tell stories that matter in the theatre and in the church.

Sharpen favourite Anthony West is the Director of Video Production at Jesus Culture Sacramento. Anthony will be leading Video Skills Sessions and is joining us by live video.

Julie is a Sharpen favourite. She balances her time between her vocal coaching business and her role as Associate Pastor of Music Ministry at Mission Hill Church. Her workshops have taken her across Canada in churches, schools and conferences, equipping singers in vocal technique, harmony, and worship leadership. Julie will be leading Vocals Skills Sessions

Luke Hendrickson is the live broadcast mixing engineer at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. Luke will be leading Audio Skills Sessions and is joining us by live video.
